BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Zoo is welcoming two new amphibians to their family.
In a post made to the zoos Facebook page on Monday they wrote "Some "axciting" news! The Buffalo Zoo recently welcomed two new axolotls, Alfredo (pictured) and Pesto! You can say hello to them, as well as current resident Axle (also pictured), in the Diversity of Life exhibit near our gorillas."
An Axolotl is 100% aquatic and they live in fresh water environments according to the zoos website.
