Buffalo woman found dead on train tracks; family searches for answers

A Buffalo family is searching for answers after Tyrina Mozee, 47, was found dead on train tracks.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tyrina Mozee, 47, was last seen by her son before leaving their Bailey Avenue home that evening.

The mother and grandmother was found dead on the train tracks at the foot of Shepard Street in Buffalo on Feb. 16.

Her sister, Chaka, said "Investigation is still ongoing, but I'm trying to get answers. We need answers. We have my sister's body on the train tracks operated by no human."

The family said they were told the train was operated remotely.

Buffalo Police, according to the family, told them that cameras did show Mozee.

Venus Mozee, mother of the victim,  said "The train had video of the person walking, Tyrina walking on the tracks."

The family remains baffled that Mozee was out late at night on train tracks.

"She doesn't even walk around at midnight. She's home at midnight. She's home taking care of her children, her grandchildren and making sure they're safe."

Mozee's family said she was found "dismantled by the train," according to her sister.

The family is awaiting the medical examiner's report which will determine if the death of accidental or intentional.
