BUFFALO, N.Y. — The City of Buffalo is pushing back the start of its winter parking rules, citing warmer weather this month.
The regulations were supposed to begin on Nov. 15. Instead, they are scheduled to begin on Nov. 22.
City officials said Friday that they will keep a close eye on weather patterns on a week-to-week basis to see if they need to make any other adjustments.
"Our goal is to be responsive to the conditions we’re seeing," Acting Mayor Christopher Scanlon said Friday in a statement, announcing the delay. "By adjusting the start of winter parking regulations, we’re aiming to provide flexibility for residents as we make the most of the warmer weather."
