BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Chabad Center For Jewish Life is hosting an open unity and prayer service rally on Sunday, October 15 at Niagara Square in Downtown Buffalo at 3:00pm.
This event is in honor of the 1,300 lives lost and the ongoing terrorist attacks happening in Israel.
The director of the Chabad Center For Jewish Life, Rabbi Mendy Labkowski said that at the event there will be a strong security presence along with the solidarity of elected officials.
“The sheer magnitude of the death, torture and kidnapping of Jews is agonizing,” says Rabbi Mendy Labkowski, director of Chabad Center For Jewish Life and organizer of the event. “We, in Buffalo, stand firm with our brothers and sisters in Israel and extend our heartfelt prayers and support.”
The unity and prayer rally will have services that include messages towards honoring the lives lost, the healing of those injured and the safe return of the hostages.
“We must remember that by illuminating our own corner of the world with acts of goodness and kindness, we can impact events on the other side of the world,” adds Rabbi Mendy Labkowski.
