Buffalo Police cruiser involved in crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are investigating an early morning crash involving a police cruiser and another vehicle.

The crash happened just before 6:00 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Goodell and North Oak Street.

A police-issued Dodge Charger was seen in the street with airbags deployed. The hood of the vehicle was crumpled and debris was scattered around it.

The other vehicle that appeared to be involved was a silver Honda Pilot. It had visible damage to the front driver's side wheel and quarter panel. Its airbags had also gone off.

According to a Buffalo Police spokesperson, there were no serious injuries reported as a result of the crash.

It is unclear what the cause of the crash may have been or the circumstances that may have led to it.
