BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Niagara International Airport has shared an update in their recent runway 5-23 rehabilitation project.
In a post made to their social media pages they wrote "Soon, you can expect to see a significant return to normal operations and flight patterns.".
Although it seems to be that the end is near, they still said that there will be several overnight closures during the month of October to fully complete the project.
The project had first began in August, and is part of ongoing preventative maintenance to the airport’s primary runway. This maintenance included centerline, lighting, and taxiway improvements.
