BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Irish Center was happy to unveil a new mural at their center on Abbott Road Tuesday.
The new mural was a collaboration between the Irish center's Board of Directors, artist Tara Bystran-Pruski, and Assemblyman Patrick Burke.
In the mural, people can see South Buffalo landmarks, and traditional Irish symbols. Leaders at the unveiling said that "The work of art emphasizes the importance of South Buffalo's Irish roots, while revitalizing the center."
"Finding an artist and designs that identifies with the character in what makes the Irish center's community special, was important when doing the project" officials also noted at the unveiling ceremony.
