BUFFALO, N.Y. — The list of local Rite Aids closing continues to grow as the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy process moves forward.
Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD) will soon close locations at 3249 Sheridan Drive, Amherst and 459 South Transit St., Lockport.
The Amherst spot’s pharmacy will close April 15 and the front-end’s last day will be May 21, according to a company spokesperson.

- 47 Niagara St., Tonawanda, is closing its pharmacy May 14, and front-end’s last day is May 19.
- 452 Main St., Buffalo. Rite Aid is looking to sell the 10,724-square-foot store.
- 15 Arnold St., Buffalo. The company wants to sell the 3,150 square feet of land it owns.
- 2453 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore. The business aims to sell the 19,800-square-foot, freestanding store.
- 2887 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga, is closing
- 2047 Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda recently posted signs that the store is closing and everything is on sale.
