The Buffalo Bills' ultimate fan has lost his battle with cancer.
The family of Ezra Castro, aka Pancho Billa, announced his passing on his Twitter account Tuesday.
They tweeted:
Our hearts broken as we have lost our dear brother ezra "Pancho Billa" this morning. We are thankful and forever grateful for all the love and support during this journey. Ezra was surrounded by family and loved ones. At this time we ask for privacy as we mourn our loss.
Castro, 39, was in Hospice care for cancer that began with a mass around his spine. It spread into other organs including his liver and lungs.
Buffalo Bills' owner Kim Pegula issued this statement on Twitter:
