Bills, Amazon named in a wrongful death lawsuit in connection to a deadly hit-and-run crash

Khairullah Hasein allegedly hit William Young, then left the scene while he was on an Amazon delivery route on the night of Nov. 13, 2023.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills and Amazon, among other parties, have been named in a wrongful death suit in a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened last year near Highmark Stadium.

Khairullah Hasein allegedly hit William Young, then left the scene while working on an Amazon delivery route on the night of Nov. 13, 2023.

The defense previously argued that Hasein did not know he hit someone, because the area around the stadium is so dark. At the time of the crash, it had been reported that the Hasein had left the scene of the accident before police found him a few hours later at his home. His car was also located with damage on it on Mills Street in the City of Buffalo.

Young's estate is seeking $15 million in damages.
