BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo AKG Art Museum is welcoming visitors to a brand new exhibition this weekend.
It's called "After the Sun — Forecasts from the North." The different works are by artists who have ties to the Nordic region. Museum officials say the pieces, in all different mediums, are a representation of our planet's climate crisis.
"There's video works here. There's sound works here. There's painting. There's sculpture. There's installation. So it's wide range of work you'll see, and of course, for me, these are brought together because they are asking us personal questions about our nature and climate, at this moment in time," Helga Christoffersen, an AKG curator, told 2 On Your Side.
The exhibition will be open to the public through Aug. 19.
