BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Grammys announced its 2021 nominations on Tuesday and one local group was honored with three nominations for music's biggest prize.
The Buffalo Philharmonic orchestra earned the honor for its "The Passion of Yeshua."
The categories the BPO is nominated in are "best contemporary classical composition," best choral performance," and the group's audio engineer, Bernd Gottinger, is up for "best engineered classical album."
The BPO has previously won two Grammys back in 2009.
