Blue and Red practice, road closures, fan rules, and more

Tickets sold out almost immediately, but if you did snag one, there are a few things you need to know.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The fan favorite Blue and Red practice is almost here. Tickets sold out almost immediately, but if you did snag one, there are a few things you need to know. 

Game Time 

Kick off starts at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 2 at Highmark Stadium. All stadium lots will open at 3 p.m. Drivers should not park on the shoulder of the roads. 

Road Closures

  • Abbott Road in front of the stadium will close to north and southbound traffic at 2:30 p.m.
    • This section of Abbott Road will stay closed until after practice 
  • Route 20A (Big Tree Road) from Fieldhouse Drive to Rte. 20 will be two lanes, one -way traffic headed eastbound away from the stadium 

Stadium Lots / Gates 

Sheriff Garcia asks fans look at the stadium map beforehand to know where best to park and which gate they can enter. The lot will open at 3 p.m. and the gates will open at 4 p.m. For a map of the stadium and parking lots, visit the link here

  • Open lots include 1, 2-ADA, 4, 6-Preferred, 6-ADA, and 7
  • Lot 2 will be reserved
  • Lot 3 is closed for new stadium construction

Permitted Items 

All fans also should know what they can and can not bring into the stadium. The Blue and Red practice will allow fans to bring in strollers, footballs, helmets and other items they want autographed.
