NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — February 1 kicks off the start of Black History Month and the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center is inviting the community to stop by to celebrate.
Throughout the upcoming month they will be hosting an action packed lineup of art, educational and community based events.
Although the group celebrates Black History all year round, for February they are kicking things up a notch with the theme of "Unbroken Resistance: Art and Culture in Black History". The theme will highlight Black leadership and self-agency rooted in freedom, justice, and cultural movements that shape the world around us.
