BUFFALO, N.Y. — There is nothing like seeing a child meet his sports hero.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen gave a young fan his hat. Standing nearby was another young fan with a sign asking Allen to sign his jersey. It was his Christmas wish.
After the video went viral showing the boy looking devastated, Allen reached out to find the young fan.
His name is Ari and he is nine years old and lives in California.
Allen saw the video and reached out and called Ari on Christmas Eve.
Ari Steinmann told Channel 2's Claudine Ewing "I was happy once I got on the phone with him. I would rather be on the phone with Josh Allen than have that hat."
His parents say it is a priceless memory that their son will have forever.
Ari became a fan of the Bills quarterback after seeing him at a Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament.
