BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Zoo announced the winning name for their new baby Japanese Macaque.
The zoo says a male Japanese Macaque, also known as a "snow monkey" was born June 22. The proud parents are Debbie and Ketu. The zoo says the mother, Debbie, and her baby are doing very well.
The Zoo asked the public for help in naming the monkey. The winning name is Koji, which means little one.
According to the Buffalo Zoo's website, the Japanese Macaque is found on the Japanese islands of Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. You can visit Koji in the Vanishing Animals exhibit.
