ARCADE, N.Y. — The Arcade Fire Department is alerting residents to be aware of smoke testing that is occurring next week.
The Village of Arcade Department of Public Works will be doing the testing on the water line along the northern portion of Main Street between West Street and Water Street.
It will be happening from Monday, October 14 - Wednesday, October 16.
Residents and businesses in the area are being told to make sure their toilets and sinks are full, to limit the possibility of smoke coming into their spaces.
They also note that the smoke is not dangerous and does not pose any health risks. It is just produced from the machines being used.
