BUFFALO, N.Y. — Arc Building Partners and BestSelf Behavioral Health have partnered on a $72 million project that would bring 175 affordable apartments to the corner of Chalmers Avenue and Holden Street in Buffalo.
The project is the latest phase of development for Highland Village, a 25-acre property on the site of the former Central Park Plaza.
The developers plan to fill five currently vacant acres with two L-shaped buildings with a combined 155 units, four two-story townhome buildings with a combined 20 units, a playground and a parking lot.
Half the apartments will be reserved for those receiving behavioral health support services through Best Self.
