Allegany, Midway, Letchworth state parks to get money for upgrades

Allegany State Park is getting $130,000 to rehab some trails and culverts. Both Midway State Park and Letchworth State Park will be receiving $300,000.

ALBANY, N.Y. — Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday that nearly $3 million in improvements is coming to state parks, including some here in Western New York.

Allegany State Park is getting $130,000 to rehab some trails and culverts. Both Midway State Park and Letchworth State Park will be receiving $300,000 from the state.

Midway will be getting a new train-themed playground this year, while Letchworth will be building a new nature center playground.
