ALDEN, N.Y. — The Erie County Sheriff's Department has announced that visiting hours at the Correctional Facility in Alden have been cancelled for this afternoon.
In a post made to their social media the Erie County Sheriff's Office wrote "The 3:30 p.m. visitation session at the Erie County Correctional Facility in Alden has been canceled for Thursday, August 22nd. The 6:30 p.m. visitation session will still take place."
They did not further share the reason that visitation hours were cancelled for 3:30 p.m.
