A 40-foot yacht sunk while it was docked in Wilson

No one was on board at the time, and it didn't cause any issues, such as a fuel spill.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — An odd sight took place Monday at Tuscarora Yacht club in Wilson: a 40-foot yacht that sunk while it was docked.

No one was on board at the time, and it didn't cause any issues, such as a fuel spill.

First responders did not want to speculate on what caused it to sink, but they are hopeful that an investigation will help them answer that.

The fleet master at Tuscarora Yacht Club could not give 2 On Your Side any estimate on the cost of the boat, or the damages it took.
