WARSAW, N.Y. — Two drivers suffered serious injuries following a crash in Wyoming County.
The accident happened just before 7:00am Monday on State Route 20A.
Investigators with the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office say a pick up truck was traveling west on State Route 20A and crossed over the center line into the eastbound lane and hit a van truck head-on.
When deputies arrived on scene they found both drivers trapped in their vehicles with serious injuries. They were taken to ECMC. Two other passengers in the van were taken to Wyoming County Community Health System for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the accident, but say they do not believe weather was a factor. No charges have been filed at this time.
The names of the victims are not being released until all family members have been notified.
