BUFFALO, N.Y. — In its first official review by the Buffalo Planning Board, Ciminelli Real Estate Corp.’s 201 Ellicott project received a warm response from board members and many community groups while developers sought to quiet concerns over parking.
Praise was given to the $50 million project that will bring a 20,000-square-foot Braymiller’s Market and 201 affordably priced apartments into the development, set for a surface parking lot at the corner of Ellicott and Oak streets.
The project was one of $165 million worth of proposed developments reviewed by the board during the 2.5 hour-long meeting.
