BUFFALO, N.Y. — A woman is dead and a man is injured after a car struck a tree Saturday night in the City of Buffalo, according to police.
The crash happened shortly past 10:00 p.m. at Arthur and Tonawanda streets, just east of Riverside High School.
A Buffalo Police spokesperson shared that a Honda Civic traveling eastbound on Arthur Street left the road and crashed into the tree.
The woman, 30-year-old of Buffalo, was a passenger and pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. They added that the driver, a 28-year-old Buffalo man, is currently in the ICU and being treated for multiple injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
