NORTH COLLINS, NY - Funeral arrangements have been planned for an 11-year-old from North Collins who died in a dirt bike crash over the weekend.
Sydney Sidote was riding her dirt bike on New Oregon Road Saturday night when investigators say she tried to cross the road, and crashed into the side of a car driving southbound.
They say she was wearing a helmet and appropriate gear when the crash happened.
Calling hours are Wednesday and Thursday at the Laing Funeral Home in Eden, following by a mass Friday.
Sidote was a student in the Eden Central School District.
There have been no charges filed in the accident.
