Buffalo Animal Shelter 100 day club member spotlight

The Buffalo Animal Shelter is making the best of Blue's situation 100 days after not being adopted yet.

BUFFALO, N.Y. β€” Looking to add a new fury friend to the family?

The Buffalo Animal Shelter shared in a post on Friday a new member of their 100 day club. Although they don't love to see pets stick around in the shelter for that long, they are making the best of this sweet boys situation until he finds a furever family.

In their post they wrote

"Blue's story is very similar to many of the dogs' that come into CBAS's care: he was a young unclaimed stray dog that was very cute, but had a TON of energy that he didn't know what to do with. That pent up energy would translate into mouthiness, jumping, and walks turning into drags down the street  Fortunately, we have amazing CBAS volunteers that LOVE to work with our pooches on training, and over his 100 days with us Blue has become an incredibly well-trained dog! He now knows a slew of commands , understands manners MUCH better than he did previously, and has even started to show off his cuddly side."

They also provided facts about Blue such as

  • Age 1-year-old
  • Weight 50-60lbs
  • Good behavior with cats
  • Good with similar energy level dogs
  • Home without toddlers best to start out
