BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Ice at Canalside’s opening celebration will be happening a little later than expected.
According to the news release, it will be delayed due to ongoing repairs to the rink’s cooling system that have taken longer than anticipated to complete.
The opening weekend festivities were originally planned for Nov. 24-26 but will be tentatively moved to Dec. 1-3.
Contractors are working diligently on-site to complete repairs as soon as possible so the rink can open to the public, Buffalo Waterfront said.
