BUFFALO, NY-- One of the most recognizable names in Buffalo is getting a change.
Roswell Park Cancer Institute is now the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, complete with a new logo.
"We are a new Roswell Park with new ideas, new energy and new goals," says center President and CEO Candace S. Johnson, PhD. in a released statement. "We need an identity that speaks to who we are and what we mean to people. And we have that now."
The new logo was designed by local artist Shasti O'Leary Soudant, who is a cancer survivor.
