Evergreen Health ready to move into former Allentown restaurant

Pharmacy and dental services will be available to the community, whether it's private insurance or people who have Medicare and Medicaid.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Evergreen Health is expanding its reach in the City of Buffalo.

It recently closed on its purchase of the Old Towne Restaurant building with plans to turn it into a pharmacy and a dental office. Officials said the location in the heart of Allentown will better serve its patients, who live and work in the area.

This new location at 186 Allen St. will also house Evergreen Health's administrative offices.

Justin Azzarella, Evergreen's chief administrative officer, told 2 On Your Side that the pharmacy and dental services will be available to the community, whether it's private insurance or people who have with Medicare and Medicaid.

The goal is to make health care more accessible, he said.
