BUFFALO, N.Y. — On Saturday the Society of St. Vincent de Paul held a Heath and Wellness Fair on Buffalo's East Side, which allowed them to learn more about the needs of residents in the area.
At the Delavan Grider Community Center, hospitals and health groups answered questions and gave information on available health resources.
They also surveyed those in attendance, about their experiences in getting healthcare and what can be improved.
"With the survey questions results, we can see if we can come as a community together to improve the lives of the people on the East Side," said St. Vincent de Paul spokesperson Sheri Frank.
Those who completed the survey received a gift card to Tops Market.
