BUFFALO, N.Y. — Fully vaccinated customers and employees of the Lexington Co-op will no longer have to wear masks inside the building, effective immediately.
The co-op says it will use the honor system and trust that if you have no mask on, you are fully vaccinated.
"We are excited to have arrived at this stage of the pandemic," said Tim Bartlett, the general manager. "Thank you all for your support and patience through this challenging year."
In recent weeks, following updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, businesses across Western New York have begun to ease their mask restrictions for fully vaccinated customers.
