BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Fire officials say 16 members of the Buffalo Fire Department have tested positive for COVID-19 with 56 total people on administrative leave. The fire union had originally reported 14 members were positive.
Four employees are set to return to work on Wednesday.
The union released a statement saying that in addition to the 14 that have tested positive, and more than 50 members were showing symptoms and have been placed on administrative leave and been told to self-quarantine.
