JAMESTOWN, NY - A man who was shot multiple times as he stood on a porch at 853 Prendergast Avenue Thursday afternoon later died at the hospital.
Jamestown Police believe the man was targeted in the shooting. The gunman, who is described as either black or Hispanic and wearing dark clothes, reportedly approached the porch from an area behind the house and started shooting. He then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was taken by ambulance to WCA Hospital where he was declared dead a short time later. The call to police went out at 5:45 p.m.
