SINCLAIRVILLE, NY - Twenty animals, including tigers, lions, bears, and wolves have been seized from JNK's Call of the Wild Sanctuary by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Twelve tigers, 3 lions, 3 bears and 2 wolves have now been placed in several licensed facilities outside of New York.
JNK's Call of the Wild Sanctuary recently lost licenses from the USDA and DEC.
Three out of the last four inspections by the USDA were unsatisfactory due to several repeat deficiencies related to housing and care of the animals.
