ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Genesee Brewing Company is rolling out a new beer, and it's all thanks to the input of thousands of fans.
The brewery announced Thursday, Citrus Pils will be hitting the shelves the first week of November.
Brand manager Tiffany Benning describes the beer as "a pilsner-style ale that delivers bright flavors of tangerine and lime," calling it "the winter cousin of Ruby Red."
Citrus Pils was picked through the “Genesee for ‘23” campaign. 10,500 people cast a vote for which new specialty beer they wanted to see next. Genesee Says Citrus Pils won in a landslide.
