WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — The Harris Hill Fire Company responded to a fire at the Eastern Hills Mall Monday night.
The fire started at the former Bon-Ton location around 9:45 p.m. Fire officials say that part of the mall is currently under construction to become a new Raymour and Flanigan store.
The fire was put out around 11 p.m.
According to the Eastern Hills Mall, no injuries were reported, and the fire did not damage other mall property. The mall was open for regular business hours on Tuesday.
Reports of the fire came in from drivers who drove past the mall on Transit Road.
They believe the fire was accidental but is still under investigation.
