BUFFALO, N.Y. — A sign of spring in Western New York opened for its 21st season Saturday morning.
The Elmwood Village farmers market runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 26th. The market is rain or shine.
The market features more than 40 local vendors selling produce, baked goods, fresh meat, flowers, wine, craft beer, and more.
New this year is cafe seating for visitors and customers.
There will be live music each Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The market's Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system allows low-income customers who receive SNAP benefits to use them at qualifying vendor stands.
