BUFFALO, N.Y. — Ninety-seven public-school administrators and teachers in Western New York were paid $150,000 or more last year, according to newly released records.
Business First obtained the payroll records for all 98 Western New York school districts from the New York State Teachers' Retirement System in response to a freedom-of-information request. The region includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming counties.
Each slide displays an administrator or teacher's gross pay in the previous academic year, along with the name of his or her district and the county in which it is located. Check out Buffalo Business First's website for a rundown of those educators, who are ranked by gross pay during the 2018-2019 academic year.
