ALBANY, N.Y. — The public has a chance to chime in on changes that could end the Regents exam in New York State.
The Board of Regents is holding input sessions across the state to allow the public to provide their comments and feedback on alternatives for the regents exam.
Board members proposed alternatives to the statewide tests including presentations and projects for students. If completed, students would still get credit towards a Regents diploma or an Advanced Regents diploma.
