Ken-East seniors participate in graduation walk

The students participated in an annual tradition where seniors put on their cap and gowns and walk through the hall of their former elementary and middle schools.

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The senior students at Kenmore East High School got a chance to look back and see how far they have come over the years. 

The students participated in an annual tradition where seniors put on their cap and gowns and walk through the hall of their former elementary and middle schools.

For Kenmore East students, they walked through the halls of Thomas Edison and Franklin elementary and middle schools on Wednesday. They were greeted with cheers and high-fives from the younger students, as well as teachers who had previously taught the students. 

On Thursday, Kenmore West Senior High students will walk the halls of Lindbergh Elementary and Hoover elementary and middle schools.
