AMHERST, N.Y. — Daemen University announced on Wednesday they have partnered with United Way of Buffalo & Erie County (UWBEC) to provide a scholarship specifically for United Way employees and affiliate workers.
The scholarship program allows applicants to pursue a Master in Science in Leadership and Innovation or a Master of Social Work. There is also the ability to receive an Advanced Certificate in Leadership and Innovation at a lower tuition rate.
"We are so proud to have developed a partnership with United Way of Buffalo & Erie County to offer a substantial scholarship to its affiliates to earn select advanced degrees," said Dr. Lisa Rafalson, Founding Dean, College of Health, Human Services, and Business at Daemen. "These graduate programs offer flexible scheduling and formats that appeal to adult learners. In addition, Daemen University has committed to providing professional development education opportunities for UWBEC."
