BUFFALO, N.Y. – The current Buffalo School Board majority is no more after the election on Tuesday night.

Polls for the election closed at 9 p.m. You can see all the results here http://bit.ly/26RtaE1

Wealthy developer Carl Paladino has been re-elected to the Buffalo school board by narrowly defeating his 18-year-old student challenger.

Unofficial results show Paladino beating high school student Austin Harig by a little more than 100 votes out of about 3,000 cast in the Park District Tuesday.

Harig took on Paladino despite Paladino's experience as a former candidate for New York governor and current campaign co-chair for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in New York.

Paladino won his first three-year term on the nine-member school board in a landslide in 2013, becoming part of a new voting majority

Other winners include Hope Jay, who defeated Incumbent and majority member Jay McCarthy in the North District.

Jennifer Mecozzi will represent the West District after defeating current school board president James Sampson, who had to launch a write in campaign.

Theresa Harris-Tigg won the East District. Paulette Woods also won the Central District over Byron McIntyre.
