AMHERST, N.Y. — Three Amhest Police officers are going back to school.
The Williamsville Central School District announced that the officers will serve as school resource officers at each of the three high schools: Williamsville North, South and East.
And they will each cover the elementary and middle schools that feed each high school.
School resource officers do everything from keep an eye out for threats, to settling disputes, and even helping students in need of cheering up.
