FORESTVILLE, N.Y. -- The decision on whether to dissolve the Village of Forestville will be made in a few months.
Village officials and the Town of Hanover met on Tuesday night to discuss the possibility of dissolving the town. Forestville still faces major debt issues.
The Center for Government Research will do a baseline study of both the town and village's finances, and will submit a final report in October.
A public meeting will be held after that report is submitted, and a final vote on the town's fate will be held on Nov. 3.
