Police investigating a robbery at Dash's on Colvin Boulevard

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Town of Tonawanda Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Dash's Market on Colvin Boulevard near Highland Parkway Wednesday morning.

No one was hurt. Authorities are looking for a suspect described as a male with dark clothing, wearing a ski mask.

Police believe the incident may be connected to 11 other armed robberies that have taken place over the past three weeks. On each occasion, the perpetrator entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.

Lieutenant Thomas Haynes said the suspect fled on foot and said there were very few people inside the store when the robbery happened at about 6:45 a.m.

Haynes recommended if anyone finds themselves in a situation where something doesn’t feel right, or they believe a robbery is happening, do not intervene or engage.
