WARSAW, N.Y. — A Wyoming County woman involved in a hit and run accident that injured two girls and killed their dog has pleaded guilty.

Lauren Hall, 28, of Strykersville, pleaded guilty to Leaving the Scene of a Serious Physical Injury Accident.

The accident happened in August on Dutch Hollow Road near Route 78 in the Town of Sheldon.

A 15-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl were out walking their dog when they were struck by a car. Both girls suffered serious injuries. The dog died in the accident.

Hall told the court she drove off the road when she became distracted and failed to keep her eyes on the road.
