NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend's dog has turned herself in to police.
Christina Leighton was charged with aggravated animal cruelty in court Friday, a day after she missed court and a judge issued a warrant for her arrest.
Police say she stabbed the dog named Two Socks because she was jealous of how much time her boyfriend was spending with it.
Two Socks is recovering well at the SPCA and was reunited with her human dad. Leighton is due back in court in December.
