West Falls man pleads guilty to forcible touching

BUFFALO, N.Y. — On Tuesday, a West Falls man pleaded guilty to forcibly touching a female victim in November 2014, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

Andrew Amato, 54, admitted that he intentionally and forcibly touched the victim in a sexual manner inside a hotel room in the Town of Cheektowaga.

Amato pleaded guilty to one count of forcible touching, which is a class A misdemeanor. He faces a maximum sentence of one year in jail. 

Amato will return to court for sentencing on April 7.
