WARSAW, NY -- A Warsaw man is facing multiple charges in connection with the attack of a 19-year-old female.
Police say Cory Goodenow, 23, allegedly assaulted the victim several times and also used a bat.
He has been charged with second degree assault, aggravated family offense, menacing in the second degree with a weapon, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and criminal obstruction of breathing.
These charges also result in a parole violation, which he was serving after being convicted for second degree rape. He was released from incarceration on December 21, 2017.
Goodenow was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court where he was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on No Bail. He is set to re-appear in the Silver Springs Court at a later date.
