Town of Tonawanda Police investigate Kenmore Avenue shooting

Investigators say the victim and the suspect are known to each other and that the shooting happened following an ongoing dispute between the two men.

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The Town of Tonawanda Police are investigation a shooting that happened Monday afternoon on Kenmore Avenue. 

Officers were called to 311 Kenmore Avenue just after 4 p.m. for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old man who had been shot in the leg and hand. 

Investigators say the victim and the suspect are known to each other and that the shooting happened following an ongoing dispute between the two men.

Police are still looking for the alleged suspect Joel A. Brown, 42, of Buffalo.
